Our Bells

The tower contains eight bells hung in a wooden frame.  The approximate weights of our bells range from 5cwt (250kg) for the treble to 15 cwt (750kg) for the tenor.

Our bells are of various ages.  Our two newest bells are dated 1895 and the oldest is the tenor that is believed to have been cast in the early 1500s so pre-dates the Reformation, and is one of the oldest bells in Cheshire.
