Tucked away down a quiet lane, Calveley Hall Chapel is a hidden gem.

The daughter chapel of St. Boniface, it was established by the then tenant of the now demolished Calveley Hall. It was consecrated probably in 1839, for the use of the family and their servants, and  was originally a sixteenth century barn and coach house.

In 1911 the de Knoop family, John Julius Jersey and his wife Margaret paid for a major refurbishment which is still unchanged today.

There are two regular services each month at 11:00 am; on the first Sunday, Holy Communion and the third Sunday Morning Worship.

The choir of St. Boniface joins us on Easter Sunday and Harvest Festival, (first Sunday in October) for a service of Choral Holy Communion at 6:30pm.

It is an excellent venue for baptisms and small weddings, accommodating around 80 people (details from the vicar.)
